This entirely handmade collar reminds me of the traditional bobbin lace workshop I visited in Bruges, Belgium. I still remember the grandmothers who taught me that lace, which is made through a series of incredibly detailed handwork, is not just for use, but is something to enjoy in the process itself.
The dress is made of a combination of beautiful openwork embroidered lace and delicate bobbin lace, with soft tulle at the ends. The shoulders are double-layered for an elegant, flowing silhouette.
The soft yellowish color that is characteristic of antiques blends elegantly and naturally with a simple black dress, adding a quiet elegance to your outfit.
This is a special piece that embodies the craftsman's thoughts that have been passed down through time.
